Here is Miss South Carolina... she is a darlin´ even if she thinks S.C. is better than NY.

Now, that I have a blog I am always thinking of stuff that I can share, while I walk. Also, because facebook askes you your thoughts, I am examing the events of my day, wondering which one is cool enough to share on here. Unfortunately, my surroundings usually influence how much and what I write. Sometimes I forget, or decide not right it. Maybe because I think its more my personal feelings and less about my experince in Costa Rica. Other times, another thought cancels out the first. Right now its kinda hot... so I am just going to post pics! choi.. ttyl p.s.- I thought we could learn spanish together so, every blog there will be 1 or more words with the translation and maybe the pronounciation as I would sound it. Today´s words can be.. deletrear y pronunciar. I hope you understand the following sentence-you should be able to decipher it becasue it has many cognates: which means words that are spelled the same and have the same meaning althought they are in another language. Deletrear significas "to spell" y pronunciar es un `cognate´ o en espanol cognado.
These are random pictures. I have more... but they have stories. This is my tico family. I think my tico mother and sister look alike. There is a sunrise, and a sunset. A picture with my South Carolinan friend Ariana (might not have spelled her name correctly), who is one of the girls I have been hanging out a lot with. we both came to study spanish for our career. (I had to put what state she was from... I will explain later in another blog.)
