doctor again

So, I went to the hospital today, with my host mother. They took out the seis stitches. The doctor said it was good thing I didn´t get a infection. Considering I never cleaned my wound, it all healed up nicely now. I was think that if I kept it cover and dry as possible then it wouldn´t get infected, I guess that was smart on my behalf. Even though, every doctor I went to and some other people told me I should wash it.
Yesterday, Lucy and Dr. Carlos came to my house... to my room :) How cool is that... can you imagine, if the adminstration of Adelphi came to an international students dorm room, just to double check that they were ok. The staff at USAC are awesome. Then in the morning, they sent the golf caddy for me and I got home by a taxi. And, I already wrote yesterday that my family is taking very good care of me. So I am well. I only wish the doctor would have said that I could take off my yeso(cast). He said that even though its a small facture its on an important bone and if I take it off it might not heal properly. :-/ bummer. He said that I could go to the othorpedist and ask... he was not a foot doctor, just a general doctor. Maybe I will. My host mom said that if I take it off, she´s going to call my dad :)
