After 40 years of public service Congressman Jose Serrano will retire. Besides fighting for legislation that lead to better resource distribution in the Borough, Congressman Serrano was instrumental in Mary Mitchell acquiring several properties in the Bronx. Here he is Heidi, Mary Mitchell's Executive Director and the youngest core of community ambassadors. They were so excited as we all can be to speak and be in the spotlight. Considering his legacy it's ironic, that we decided the youngest of us should bestow the plaque to Congressman Serrano.
