My host family is making sure I don´t walk a lot.
Guardar… means to keep or to save. I just looked it up in the dictionary… it doesn’t mean to guard. But I guess it does in a way. For instance if you are keeping something (from danger) or saving someone-then you are guarding them. Well I am under house arrest, mi tobillo es roto. {Just to help clear the confusion, that says en Spanish “my ANKLE is broken” } I guess it is good that I am on lock down, because my foot has not swelled up since Saturday. And Saturday can be excused because I was traveling then. There is so much to tell… traveling, broken bones, hostels, and personas de europea y tambien claro que si Panama!!
So, just to get the broken bone story straight. I broke my ankle… not my leg, well actually its my leg, but when people say leg, they are thinking of the wrong bone so its more accurate to say ankle so they can get the proper picture. Now can you kinda figure out where abouts my bone is broken?? I broke my filuba??? We have two bones in our leg. The principal that is called the tibia(today I had an antimony lesson in English so I finally remember the names of the bones). This bone you can feel if you rub your leg… or mine (wiggle eyebrows) j/k, j/k (Dear Dad that was a joke because I know you are a probably little tense as you read this) Needless to say I am fine… especially if I am writing this, obviously I am cool. Actually, I am hot but to get back on subject my leggy ankle bone problem. So I broke my minor bone- but its only a tiny little fractura. Those are the words del doctor. Está solamente una fractua and I have the x-ray. So, what else can I Say I broke my tobillo or a bone in my leg, but I had a nice time in Panama and am doing well right now. Trully, I have gotten the hang of the muletas and I am hobbing along nicely.
