family, packages and missing love ones

So, I just wanted send a shout out to my family, thanks for the lovely package.I am guessing when they reopened school after Semana Santa, there were a couple of packages wait for the students. Everyone was very curious to know what was inside because the box was pretty huge. One teacher was like did you get your package. And one friend even opened it for me. When a student recieves a package everyone is very happy. Actually, a letter will, generate excitement. A friend of mine was sent a letter by her bestfriend, and she read it and then reread it outloud to the whole computer lab. I think this is because we all miss home but some do not realize it. Everyone misses home in different ways, and we all enjoy hearing about American news. Packages, Skype and letters are not the only ways students stay in touch. Some students even had boyfriends, bestfriends and parents vist. I personally think that most students prefer a package than there mom or dad showing up in CR for a week. This might have to do with how USAC students are interrpurting pura vida if you get my drift. (I am joking but I am not :D) On a whole I think when someone vists a student, sends them a package or creates a video about them, all the students are happy for them.I really have enjoyed being apart of the Spring 2010 Puntarenas USAC family, but I am happy to be almost done with my semester aboard.
