Willis Avenue Garden: Pays tribue to Joe Perez.

The other day, while doing outreach I passed Willis Avenue Garden. At first, I wanted to find out about the watering system, and I was just plain anxious to get inside a garden.but as I spoke with Ms. Debbie, a gardener I noticed the grape vines.Willis Avenue Garden is beautifully stewarded by NYRP. The Willis Avenue community garden is great on many levels but this mural caught my attention.
Seeing the mural blew all these questions, thoughts out my mind. I really love how this mural portrayed my people. I don't know who Joe Perez is but this mural is AMAZING!!
