The Hydroponic labs at Los Sures which provides fresh produce to supplement their food pantry distribution. Weekly over 50 heads of lettuce is harvested. As Luis, Santiago and other volunteer members showed me around I was very impressed with this idea pantry participants can even harvest their own lettuce. Managed by Los Sures staff and volunteers, the pantry serves almost 20,000 individuals monthly.
