A country girl from NYC
I didn't always want to garden in New York. As I matter of fact, I was not interested at all in growing food to eat. We had house plants, and I wanted to visit my family farms down south but the idea never trigger that I could have a farm in New York. However, I was drawn by the challenge and the connection with nature.
Now the idea of not gardening due to COVID-19 has me in a panic. It's spring. So what am I am doing, I am gardening indoors.... and my apartment is not .... chem...
Anyways, if you want to know how it's working.... its going good. First thing first, I tried to grow everything I got from the supermarket that came home with roots. So I started with scallions and sweet potatoes. Then I youtube'd homegrown vegetables here is a good video to get you started.
Have you tried any?
