Soy alta;

en la guerra

llegué a pesar cuarenta kilos.

al borde de la cárcel,

al borde de la amistad,

al borde del arte,

al borde del suicidio,

al borde de la misericordia,

al bor

de de la envidia,

al borde de la fama,

al borde del amor,

al borde de la playa,

y, p

oco a poco, me fue dando sueño,

y

aquí estoy durmiendo al borde,

al borde de despertar.

I am tall;

in the war

I gain 40 kilos.

I've been on the edge of tuberculosis,

on the verge of imprisonment,

on the verge of friendship,

at the board of art,

on the brink of suicide,

at the end of mercy,

on the brink of evny,

on the edge of fame,

at the border of love,

at the beach edge,

and, little by little, I was falling asleep,

and here i am sleeping on the edge,

on the edge of waking up.
