Butternut Squash & Kale Pizza: Zoom Cook

Thursday at 6:30 we will begin our Zoomcook. I will be making another veggie pizza from scratch! This time I am eliminating the tomato sauce, in favor of a herb infused oil. I've also invited some folks who  currently participate in CSA's to join us and share their experience.

Agenda:

- Let's create a timeline for starting a CSA in community board 6

- Let's make a pizza together, ingredients are below. (If you are making the pizza with me prepare the dough before hand or buy it. The dough needs to rise. Hopefully by the time the meeting is over or during  you can eat with tu familia! )

 

Total Time:  1 1/2 hours    Baking Time 18-20 mins  

Ingredients Needed:

Toppings:

Cheese

Fresh herbs: Rosemary or Sage

Small butternut squash / pumpkin or other gourd 

Olive oil

1 bunch of kale chopped

Pizza Dough: Video of basic recipe

- Flour

-1 packet of Yeast

- Sugar

- Warm Water

-Rosemary (optional)

(I hear Trader Joe's also has great frozen pizza crust for those of you who need to take a short cut :).
