Garlic Rosemary Butter

Garlic Rosemary Butter is a perfect addition, base or center piece to upscale any dish.

Recipe:

  1. Dice garlic finely  (I wanted a really garlicky taste, so I use 2 heads of garlic)
  2. Crush dried rosemary, sage  or your choice of fresh herbs
  3. Mix garlic into 1/2  stick of butter (this should be warm ... room temp)
  4. Store in the refrigerator

You can also skip the dicing of garlic and just blend all the ingredients together into a puree. Start with garlic first, add a teaspoon of olive oil to get it started if necessary. Then rosemary and fold into the butter.

Ideas of ways to use it:

Garlic Bread  (Spread it on and toasted)

Garlic Bread grilled cheese

Sauteed Spinach ( Caramelize onions in the butter first, then add spinach.)

Rub on vegetables before roasting

Vegetable rice (carmalize onions and fry rice in butter, then 2 tablespoons of sofrito, add 1 cup of  broth  etc...)
