Generosity Bronx
Today, I ran my second 5K for Generosity Bronx.
Bronxworks sponsored a charity run/walk with 5 other organizations. Each particpant had to raise at least $200. I really enjoyed running on my team because our name was weedspeed. :) (I think I was the only gardener on the team though.) I was nervous about running and I even went out and brought some unneccesary runner's gear.
The race took place in Vancourtlandt Park, near my old high school. It was a light run, my time was 37 mins. I felt really good running except, I wanted a partner. Without a partner I kept falling behind. So I ended up pacing myself with Sharifa* from YACHAD.
