Bring back the jobs: Chase and McDonald's

Have you notice that Chase and McDonald's have undergone some extreme cultural renovations? In this age of advance technology, businesses should do a customer survey to assess: If they are improving their product through technology. Both companies have chosen to slash their employment force, McDonald 's seem to have let go by half.

Chase closed all but 2 of its teller windows on their 149th Street branch last year. They installed more ATM's. Three new ones in the center of the bank and sent out their tellers on the floor "to assist you in using the atm". I prefer human contact which is why I bypassed the 8 out in the lobby!  Recently Chase branches along East Tremont ave. followed suite.

Dear Chase, I don't want to discuss my business out loud. I prefer to place large sums in an envelope recieved from a  private window then from a ATM situate in the middle of a crowded bank lobby

McDonald's on the other hand is just making a bad choice.  I don't even eat there, but I notice the outside renovations... it looks chic. What was wrong with the playhouses, though? I remeber going to McD's after the movies as trip in middle school.

A co-worker mention that she drove through a newly renovated McDonalds. They served her food so fast she said it could not have been made fresh. Sure enough the meal was cold and soggy. She entered the McDonalds and returned the extraordinary bad meal. I think they are trying to sabotage themselves.

In Europe when mining jobs were taking over by artificial intelligence it was a question of safety, efficiency. Labor laws  protect workers and emoloyer was mandated to pay them as they assisted them in finding employment else where.

In  United States the 80s jobs when overseas, as a direct attack on the unionization and to destabilize the growth in wealth in low-income communities.. Now we are losing more jobs due to automation. Yet, don't think there is NOT a surplus of opportunity for employment. From fixing potholes and cleaning New York sidewalks, getting rid of rats in the subway (start with the G Line, please), managing supportive housing services, resident engagement in nursing homes the list could go on. I just need a funder.
