What sex is it? Spanish, French & German

What does the French, Spanish and German languages have in common?
We have all (hopefully) heard of the romance languages, whom all have their roots in Latin. Can you name all five?

I am learning German and it is also similar. If you want to learn more than one language... just become bilingual. For me, learning another language have become easier once you learn the grammar rules of two.

German is similar to the romance languages in that it has both feminine and masculine articles and words unlike English. Example:

English: I am a woman. / He is a man. / You are a kid. / The girl eats the apple.
German: Ich bin eine Frau.  / Er ist ein Mann. / Du bist ein Junge. / Das madchen isst der Apfel.
Spanish: Soy una mujer. El es un hombre. / Tu es un chico. / La chica come la manzana
French: Je suis une femme. Il es un homme. / Tu est un enfant. / La fille mange la pomme.

NOTE: You are a kid in Spanish still has a gender attached. Please excuse the lack of accents in German and Spanish.

P.S. - German is not one of the romance  lanuages.
