My response to WNYC: response to: Why a Generation of Adoptees is returning to South Korea
I just wanted to highlight the story that WNYC reported today on the NY Times article: Why a Generation of Adoptees is returning to South Korea by Maggie Jones.
“You need parents who can talk about white privilege, who can say: ‘You might experience some of this. I’m sorry. We are in this together.' ”
This was one of the last comments from the article that WNYC highlighted before the ending of the show, and it stuck with me.
Two comments I would like to make:

Two comments I would like to make:
- I appreciated the title of the Maggie Jones article and how even though it was a question she did not provide an answer in the sense of 2+2=4.
- Whether adopted or not at some point everyone searches for a place to belong and questions if they know and agree with who they were raised to be.
