Lego-Mania

Legos are truly all the rage nowadays. Many childhood educators have stress the benefits of playing with blocks. I think it goes beyond imagination. Children are able to express themselves, think critically and it increases spatial and motor abilities.

My sister uses playing with Legos as a reward in her class during the school year. Boys and girls enjoy building their vision of whatever. Recently for the summer, the summer camp went to Legoland. All the kids were on the best behavior the days before in order to earn the trip.  Legos even found their way into my Community planning meeting.
